What should I wear on the day?
Casual clothing. We say to people do come prepared for the weather, if it is wet to bring along waterproof clothing and Wellington boots, if it is hot to ensure that they bring sun hats and sun cream. Trainers or boots are the best footwear for the activities. It is advisable to bring a jacket or warm clothing in the winter. All safety gear is supplied by Banzai.
What happens on the day?
On arrival participants will be shown to the clubhouse and will register themselves with Banzai. Participants and guests are welcome to help themselves to refreshments. A welcome briefing is given by the event coordinator; safety, day format and introductions to their first instructor. The participants then move to their first activity. Refreshments are available in the clubhouse throughout the day.
Are there any height or weight restrictions?
- Minimum age 16 years / Maximum age 70 years.
- Minimum height 4' 6'' / Maximum height 6' 7''.
- Maximum weight 20 stone.
We recommend that people with back conditions and other conditions likely to be aggravated by driving over rough terrain do not take part.
Disabled guests are welcome based on ability, please call Banzai to discuss.
No experience is required, however, a couple of motorised activities do require a driving license.
Can I bring spectators?
Yes, although we are unable to admit children under 16 years for safety reasons, and there is a charge of £5 for a half day (which includes refreshments and insurance) and £15 for a full day (which includes lunch as well as refreshments and insurance).
What about the weather?
Banzai operates all year round. Generally, the weather will not affect this activity, however in cases of extreme weather the event may be postponed to another date.
What else do I need to know?
Motor sport can be dangerous. Although we make every effort to ensure your safety, accidents can occur. To this we require the participant to read, understand and sign a disclaimer before you take part. We also advise all drivers to make use of Personal Accident Insurance at £15/person. We reserve the right to refuse a person further participation without refund, if in our view, they are putting other participants at risk. Please note that we currently hold £5 million public liability insurance.
Nearest train station: Bicester North, approx. 5 minutes from Banzai; Chiltern Railway from London Marylebone to Birmingham. Cancellation Policy: Once a date is booked for this activity the centre requires at least 28 days notice to cancel or change a booking.
